We use a tiered system of dosing with Pet CBD oil. It depends on your pet’s size:
- Tier 1: 0.05 mg per lb of bodyweight
- Tier 2: 0.125 mg per lb of bodyweight
- Tier 3: 0.25 mg per lb of bodyweight
Everyone should start with Tier 1 twice a day. After a week, go to Tier 2 if necessary. After another week, go to Tier 3 if necessary. For example (based on Tier 1 dosing):
- Pets up to 25lbs - up to 1.25 mg twice a day
- Pets between 25 – 50lb - between 1.25 to 2.5 mg twice a day
- Pets between 50 – 75lb - between 2.5 to 3.75 mg twice a day
Medipets CBD oil for pets has, on average, between .05 mg and .2 mg CBD per drop.
CBD Pet Spray is a simple to use spray bottle of CBD oil for cats and dogs. All you need are two sprays and your pet can go on their way to enjoy their day. Again, for fickle pets that don't like droppers, CBD pet spray is another option to give them the CBD oil they need.
The perfect treat for the four-legged friend in your life, Medipets Pet Snacks from Diamond CBD not only give pets something great to snack on, but they provide them with an infusion of all-natural industrial hemp CBD which could keep them healthy and robust as well. Pets can be finicky, which is why we offer a whole line of different Pet CBD oil products for pets. Our CBD Pet Treats come in tasty flavors like Meaty Steak and Purrs & Puffs. In fact, there are 16 flavors for dogs and two for cats.
Honestly, giving your pet your CBD oil is not a great idea. MediPets brand Pet CBD oil is specially designed for cats and dogs. It takes into account their size and their body weight. Pet CBD oil comes in dosages just for pets. So, never give your CBD oil to your pet.
Cheap Pet CBD oil has toxic solvents such as propane, hexane, or butane left over that may have been used in the extraction process. These poisons can be dangerous for any pet.
The best companies use supercritical CO2 extraction to obtain their CBD oil. It maintains the purity of the CBD oil and retains all of the naturally occurring beneficial molecules found in the hemp plant.
Of course! All of our Pet CBD oil undergoes independent third-party lab testing to ensure that it includes no synthetics and no illegal substances. Plus, it helps to give pet owners peace of mind, so that they can know exactly what they are giving to their companions. All of our lab tests are available on our website, and customers can ask for a copy as well if they wish to examine it further.
MediPets does many things to guarantee that our pet families receive only the best Pet CBD oil. We clearly-label all packaging on all of our CBD oil products, including our CBD Pet Treats and CBD Pet Spray. This way, our customers know exactly what's in the bottle, as well as how much to give their pets. We do independent third-party lab testing on all of our Pet CBD oil products and provide everyone with the results. On top of that, the customer experience team will help answer any and all questions.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation going around the internet these days. Pet CBD oil is legal in all 50 states. The FDA sees hemp-derived extracts as food-based products. There are no restrictions legally, on hemp in the United States. Hemp oil is used by millions of people (and their pets!) across the globe, and the number is rising as more studies explore its many potential health benefits.
Of course not! Pet CBD oil is completely different from THC. CBD oil from hemp contains no more than trace amounts of THC. According to what’s legally required it has less than 0.03 percent THC. So little, in fact, that it would be impossible for a dog or a cat to become high when using it. CBD oil comes from hemp, but CBD oil is not marijuana.
Cats and dogs can take CBD oil for the same reasons that their humans do. Their endocannabinoid systems, according to all available research, are very similar to humans. CBD oil for pets can be used for anxiety or stress. It’s great for long car rides when a pet may become anxious. For older pets or pets with joint pain pet CBD oil may be very helpful, as well as for a whole host of other reasons.
Pet CBD oil works with your furry friend’s endocannabinoid system. Because CBD is a cannabinoid, it helps to supplement a pet’s natural cannabinoids, which helps the endocannabinoid system to become stronger.
The endocannabinoid system is really just a bunch of cannabinoid receptors. And although pets produce their own natural cannabinoids, they can also use CBD oil or cannabidiol. It is known as a phytocannabinoid (plant-based cannabinoid) and can supplement the endocannabinoid system (ECS).
Pet CBD oil, like all CBD oil, is made up of cannabinoids found in cannabis. It is also known as cannabidiol and is widely recognized for its possible benefits to the health of dogs and cats.
Cannabis is the genus name for both marijuana and hemp. The term itself is not necessarily interchangeable with marijuana. In fact, almost all pet CBD oil today comes from industrial hemp, which contains very little THC, the cannabinoid responsible for causing a high. Most strains of hemp are rich in CBD and have less than 0.03 percent THC.
Hemp is not marijuana and will not get you ’high’. Hemp, or industrial hemp, is a commonly-used term for cannabis sativa plant strains which contain very low levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and are typically used for its fiber and seeds.
No. Hemp oil contains CBD, the non-psychoactive compounds of the cannabis plant. Hemp oil does not have the psychoactive qualities found in THC, and while using it you can maintain a clear mind and active lifestyle.
Our focus is to research and develop innovative natural CBD extracts with no synthetics or THC. We pride ourselves in producing the finest and purest CBD oils while never compromising quality. Check out our About Page for more information. Our CBD is constantly tested to ensure quality. We list all our ingredients on our website as well as on each package. We also have lab reports for many of our products available online.
